Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator to join their client's team onsite in Irvine, CA. This is a temporary position with a duration of six months, offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to expand their skills in document management and quality control within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process, store, and distribute controlled quality system documentation using both paper-based and electronic database methods.
  • Handle engineering change notices/orders (ECN/ECO) according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and engineering operating procedures (EOP).
  • Maintain approved controlled documentation in both physical storage systems and electronic file vaults for quality system requirements.
  • Enter data, monitor status, and generate reports from the ECN/ECO database to assist document control and engineering teams.
  • Verify and update data in the Pansophic system to manage product shipment capabilities based on submitted forms.
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies in the document management system to ensure accessibility and accuracy for all users.
  • Engage in filing and data entry tasks to support document control operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with strong data entry skills.
  • Experience with change orders in the medical device field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing and record retention practices is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Ability to lift 20-25 pound boxes and sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
